About Castle Peak Painting
Owner Dave Canino moved to Truckee in 1979 from San Jose, like so many others, to ski. In order to do that Dave took a job at Northstar at Tahoe for several years along with attending University of Nevada, Reno. Dave worked on the mountain and with the maintenance department where he learned the painting trade. After a short time with a local painting contractor, Dave decided to get his Painting Contractors License in which Castle Peak Painting Co. was established in 1987.
Along with Dave's wife, Paula, they have built a successful business, which includes 9 employees. Dave and Paula attribute their success with concentrating on customer service and providing superior work. They also attribute their success to their employees. Several have worked for over 10 years with Castle Peak Painting Co., and one for over 20 years.
